Welcome to Kiteschool. Here’s the short version:

• Kiteschool helps riders discover kite and wing schools and teachers. We do not sell or run lessons. If you arrange a lesson, you deal directly with the school or teacher.
• Schools pay for an active listing. Teachers can create profiles for free.
• Riders give schools and teachers 🔥. Organic rank comes from valid 🔥, not money. One rider gets one 🔥 per profile; fake accounts and vote manipulation are out.
• Schools may separately buy Featured visibility. Featured placements are labelled and do not add 🔥 or change organic rank.
• An inactive school is out of ordinary discovery and the leaderboard and cannot receive new 🔥 until it becomes active again.
• Paying for a listing or Featured placement does not guarantee views, enquiries, students or revenue. The price, period and any renewal terms must be shown at checkout.
• School managers must be authorized to act for their schools. A school can show a teacher affiliation, but does not own that teacher’s independent profile.
• Schools and teachers are responsible for accurate profiles and for the safety, terms and delivery of their own lessons. A 🔥 total or verification mark is not a safety certification.
• We may remove fake, misleading, unlawful or manipulated content, and you can report or contest a listing decision.
• Kiteschool is operated by PDL2.0 Holding Company in the Netherlands. Dutch law applies, subject to mandatory protections that may apply to you.

These Terms govern use of Kiteschool.co by visitors, riders, teachers, and the people who manage school profiles. A separate checkout summary may contain the price and duration of a paid listing or Featured placement. Please read that summary before paying.

1. What Kiteschool does

Kiteschool helps people discover kite and wing schools, teachers, locations and related information. It publishes profiles and rider-powered 🔥 leaderboards. Schools can pay for an active listing and may separately purchase clearly identified Featured visibility. Teachers can create profiles without paying. 🔥 and organic leaderboard positions cannot be purchased.

Kiteschool does not provide lessons, sell lesson bookings, collect lesson payments, employ listed teachers, or act as a party to an agreement for a lesson. When you contact a school or teacher through a link, email, phone number, WhatsApp, or another external channel, any lesson arrangement is between you and that provider. Their prices, safety rules, availability, cancellation policies and insurance arrangements apply to that arrangement.

2. Accounts and authority

You must provide accurate information and protect access to your account. You are responsible for activity under it unless caused by our failure to take reasonable care. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

A person claiming or managing a school profile confirms that they have authority to act for that school. A teacher must have authority to publish their own profile and to provide any material they upload. A school may propose or verify a teacher affiliation, but a school listing does not give the school ownership of a teacher's personal profile. We may request reasonable verification and may mark an affiliation as pending, verified, disputed or ended.

You must be at least [confirm minimum account age; 16 is the working proposal] to create an account or submit 🔥. People under 18 should involve a parent or guardian before arranging lessons. Schools and teachers remain responsible for checking participant age and any applicable parental consent for their own services.

3. Profiles, claims and content

You may provide names, descriptions, photos, logos, gear and discipline information, contact details, links and other profile material (“Content”). You retain your rights in it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, format, display and promote that Content in connection with Kiteschool, including relevant previews on other services, for as long as it is on the platform and for a reasonable period needed for backups or legal records. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for this use, including permission from identifiable people in images.

Keep your profile accurate and up to date. Do not impersonate a school or teacher, invent affiliations, post misleading qualifications, infringe another person's rights, or publish unlawful, abusive or unsafe material. Do not upload health records or other sensitive personal data about anyone. Public contact details and external links you choose to display may be seen and used by visitors outside Kiteschool.

We may correct factual display errors, ask for proof, remove Content, restrict an account or affiliation, or suspend a listing where reasonably needed to address fraud, safety, rights complaints, legal requirements or serious breach of these Terms. We will explain a restriction and offer a way to contest it where required by applicable law. 4. 🔥, rankings and Featured

An authenticated rider may give one 🔥 per school or teacher profile. Do not use duplicate accounts, bots, incentives, purchased votes or coordinated manipulation. Do not exchange 🔥 for a discount, benefit or reward. We may investigate suspicious activity and disregard or remove invalid 🔥.

The organic leaderboard is based principally on valid rider 🔥 within the displayed scope (such as global, country or location). Eligibility and display may also depend on a profile being active, its selected location, valid category and moderation status. Counts, ties and ordering can change as data is corrected or votes are invalidated. Where valid 🔥 totals tie, we use [insert actual tie-break method before publication]. We may correct errors caused by fraud, reversals, incorrect data or technical problems. A ranking is an expression of platform activity, not an independent assessment of teaching quality, certification or safety.

Featured is paid visibility outside the organic ranking. We label paid placements so visitors can distinguish them from organic results. Buying Featured does not add 🔥 or improve a school's or teacher's organic rank. The checkout or order summary describes the placement, duration and price. Paid visibility does not guarantee views, clicks, enquiries, students or revenue. Display order within a Featured area is [insert actual placement-order rule]. We may refuse misleading creative or placements that conflict with the integrity of the platform; if we cannot deliver a paid placement, we will provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where due.

5. School listings and payment

A school listing becomes eligible for normal discovery and the leaderboard when its required information, verification and payment steps are complete and we activate it. An inactive or expired school listing is excluded from ordinary discovery and the leaderboard and cannot receive new 🔥 while inactive. Its profile or historical 🔥 may remain visible in limited contexts if the product shows them; reactivation does not create new votes. A teacher's free profile is subject to the same accuracy, moderation and eligibility rules but no school-listing fee.

The current price, taxes, billing period, activation terms and any renewal arrangement are shown before payment. Stripe processes payments; Kiteschool does not receive your full card details. A payment renews automatically only if the checkout explicitly says so and presents the renewal price and cancellation method. If automatic renewal is offered, you may stop the next renewal through [insert account path or support email] before the renewal date. Cancellation ordinarily ends paid visibility at the end of the paid period; it does not erase records we must keep. If you cancel during a paid period, refunds are governed by the checkout terms and mandatory law. If we permanently remove an otherwise compliant paid listing for a reason within our control, we will refund the unused portion.

Where a paid listing is removed because the school seriously breaches these Terms, no refund is due for the remaining period except where mandatory law requires otherwise. This does not affect a remedy due for our own failure to deliver. A school buying promotion for its business ordinarily acts as a business customer. If a buyer has mandatory consumer rights under applicable law, these Terms do not take them away. Any legally required withdrawal information and method must be given at checkout.

6. Independent schools, teachers and safety

Profiles, verification marks, affiliations and popularity are not a guarantee of qualifications, equipment condition, supervision, weather suitability, insurance or legal compliance. Schools and teachers are independently responsible for the lessons and claims they make, and for applicable permits, training, safeguarding and safety procedures. Riders should check the provider's credentials, lesson terms, local conditions and insurance before participating. Kite and wing sports carry physical risk; follow the instructor's and local safety instructions.

7. Prohibited use and platform rights

Do not submit fake schools, teachers or qualifications; claim a profile without authority; manipulate 🔥 or Featured placement; upload malware or phishing links; bypass access controls or rate limits; or systematically copy substantial parts of Kiteschool to operate a competing directory without permission. Do not use another person's contact details to send unsolicited invitations. A school may not imply that it owns a teacher's independent profile merely because they are affiliated.

Kiteschool's original software, design, brand and editorial content belong to us or our licensors. School and teacher names, logos and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners; display on Kiteschool does not imply their endorsement of us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

8. Platform operation and liability

We aim to keep Kiteschool available and information accurate, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or that third-party profile information is always correct. We may improve or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. We do not control external websites or messaging services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for our intent or gross negligence where applicable, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those limits, we are responsible for loss directly caused by our breach of these Terms to the extent reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for a provider's lesson, a visitor's independent arrangement with a provider, or losses caused by inaccurate Content supplied by someone else where we have met our legal duties.

9. Changes, ending use and disputes

We may update these Terms as the service develops. We will publish the new date and give business users at least 15 days’ notice of changes to these Terms where the Platform-to-Business Regulation applies, and longer if the change requires significant technical or commercial adjustment; other users will receive reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting active accounts or paid services, except where an urgent legal or security reason requires earlier action. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights for a paid period without a lawful basis.

You may stop using the service and ask to close your account through [insert support email/account path]. Closing an account does not cancel a separately agreed renewal unless you also use the cancellation method described at checkout; we will make that method accessible. We may end or restrict access for a serious breach or legal reason, with a statement of reasons and an opportunity to respond where applicable. For business accounts, we will give the advance notice required by applicable platform law before terminating the account unless a legal exception applies. Dutch law governs these Terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where a consumer lives. Disputes may be brought before a competent Dutch court, without taking away a consumer's right to bring a claim before a court that mandatory law makes available to them.
